Day 1:

You would be picked up by the representative(s) of SreesTours either from the Kochi Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station or Bus Stand. The representative(s) will then escort you to Kumarakom and help you with the check-in formalities of the hotel. The rest of the day time is at leisure. You can have a visit to the local Ayurvedic Massage Treatment Centers, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, or the Sun Set Cruise etc.

Note: Kochi to Kumarakom is 48 Kms. A journey of around 1.5 hours.

Day 2:

Check-in houseboat at 12:00 PM for voyage and visiting the attractions. Cruising over the Vembanadu Lake you will visit the R and C Blocks where paddy is cultivated below sea level. You would also be cruising through waterways of Alleppey. The houseboat would halt some of the places where you can take a walk in the adjoining villages to perceive and understand the rural life. Houseboat is among the best way to experience the Alleppey backwaters. Lunch, evening snacks, dinner and breakfast will be served in the boat itself.

Day 3:

Post morning cruise and breakfast it’s time to check out from houseboat. You will now be moving to Kovalam. As you reach Kovalam, the representatives will take you to the beach resort. You can visit the Kovalam Beach and Light House Beach in evening hours, etc. Spend the leisure time at beach resort.

Day 4:

Day 5:

The last day of your trip would be in Trivandrum. You must visit to Kuthiramalika Palace, Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Veli Tourist Village, Padmanabhapuram Palace and Museum etc. in Trivandrum. In the end you would dropped either at the Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station or to the Kochi Airport.

Note: Trivandrum to Kochi is a six hours journey by road.

How to Reach Kerala from Ujjain?

Since the distance is too much to travel; the road trip is next to impossible. Thus, you are left either with the option of travelling by airways or by railways.

By Airways:

There is no airport in Ujjain and the nearest airport is Indore. Therefore you must take a flight from Indore to Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram. Unfortunately there are no non-stops flights to both these destinations. Each available flight has a minimum one stop on the way.

  • Take a flight from Indore to Kochi which lands in Kochi in between 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Another flight from Indore arrives Kochi at 7:00 PM
  • Alternatively you can opt any flight from Indore to Thiruvananthapuram in between 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM

By Railways:

There is no train available from Ujjain on daily basis. A train available on daily basis from Nagda, train number 2031 departs at 09:05 PM

  • To reach Ernakulam at 02:35 PM (Journey hours: 41h 30m) and,
  • To reach Thiruvananthapuram at 04:55 PM (Journey hours: 46h 50m)
